Friday March 19, 2016 was the final day of this program, Uprising with Sonali. After debuting in August 2003, Uprising became the longest-running drive-time program in Southern California to be hosted by a woman. We are pleased to present a brand new show, Rising Up With Sonali also hosted and executive produced by Sonali Kolhatkar with Anna Buss as Senior Producer.

The most exciting part of our new show is that we are returning to a television program format. Starting soon the cable channel Free Speech TV will begin airing weekly one-hour episodes of Rising Up with Sonali. Eventually we will transition to a daily program.
We will continue to keep this website as an electronic record of our 13 and a half years of programming.
